Why does my music go backwards. I want to play my recently played in the order it's in but when I play next it goes backwards

Could you please let us know in what Deezer app version is this happening, @William Homan? Have you tried reinstalling the app?

I have the same problem, I also have trouble that my entire Playlist is wrong

Dear Deezer.

Across the internet your customers are requesting the same thing. "Correct my play list reverse order" problem. 

All we see is questions from Deezer, and no permanent resolutions to the problem.

You don't need to know which version customers have. Just fix the fault in all platforms. The industrial term is "Root Cause Analysis and Resolution".

I'm 61. That means like everyone I have long and wide musical choices.

It means as a musician in my own right I have appreciation of all old and especially brand new,  contemporary and "right out there" modern cutting edge artists. 

It means I understand Continuous Improvement in business. And when a company does not continuously improve its customer service or product.

It also means that if Deezer choose  not to resolve this problem for me and all users who are ultimately frustrated by  poor quality management, then I have to give my monthly subscription to another provider, and enjoy making a new list whilst giving my money to them.

Deezer. Bear in mind that I love my Deezer. I love it's independence. Deezer represents me, my age group, my persona. Leaving is against my choices. But I will leave Deezer if my playlist presents and plays in reverse order one month from now.

FYI. Latest version on Android downloaded today, tested and still failed to play in the correct order of downloaded is 6.2.29.66.

No response is required to this text. Just a single and permanent usable resolution to a widespread and stunningly irritating problem.

Today is 14th August 2021. My Deezer account will close if my playlist is still reversed and uncontrollable in my Application on the 14th September 2021.

I have often reinstalled my deezer but it sometimes comes back

Version: 6.2.33.56

 

I've had Deezer for 8 years and have suffered from it for the last 3 years

Favourts only playing from first added to knew only won't let me play from my most resent down

I have this problem that when I start my favorite songs playlist it won't play new to old. Even when I have that selected. I have to ad a new song every time I listen. Otherwise it plays my latest song and then it stops playing.

Sorry for the experience. I'll chase our devs with more info on this. Hopefully it can get sorted in the near future!
