Why does Chromecast not work?

First you write this:

“Received the message from Deezer that they will not fix it.”

then that

“They are working on it… and hoping someday it will be fixed.”

 

I have now started an inquiry myself, since obviously subjective interpretations are being transformed into facts. :expressionless:

I get your point. This is also because of the different answers we get (in 1 day??) on our (many) inquirys. Depends on which person from Deezer reponds. I tried to delete the previous one but that is not possible. If you know how to, please tell me.

For your information I think that Unfortunately Deezer dev don't work at the problem in this moment.

Do Anyone knows a service to transfer all library from deezer  to Spotify? I need transfer all members of a family account

So I got a message from Yula, saying that fixing Chromecast is not a priority at the moment.....what can I say....We should ALL send an email to the support team to give it priority..!!!!!!!!

Please make sure you don’t have deezer playing on another device. 

Please change your password here: https://www.deezer.com/password/reset

Reinstall the app, and log in again with the new password. 

Cast again after these steps and let me know if the situation improves!

Chromecast streaming has stopped working for a more than a week now. Please fix this Deezer! Casting is the main reason to have (paid) subscription. Casting was never great, but usually acceptable. Now that it has stopped altogether I’m considering switching to another service.

So I bought the new streamer Cambridge Audio CXN and Deezer on this device via Chromecast works without any problem... I now still have Deezer prepaid and also Tidal and that is why I compared the two services-> Tidal has Tidal Connect, gapless, forming the via Chromecast queue, correct album release years and label names, playlist folders and is cheaper in my country. Unfortunately, Deeezer has a lot of faults and shortcomings BUT I have to admit truthfully that it sounds  better, clearer, cleaner on my apparatus more then Tidal..And the quality of the stream is very important to me. The menu is also clearer. I'm going to have a tough decision...
