I got  message from Yula, that this problem is not a priority for them.. 🤷

 

"We have reported it, but our product team is in the middle of other projects and we have pushed it as much as we could.
Unfortunately, it is not a priority now.
If you send a mail to our Support they will add you to the list of users that are affected and you will receive an email when it's fixed.
The more people we can link to the incident the more it will become a priority."

Hey everybody!

Yes, I have noticed in other threads too that Chromecast does not seem to work, especially on Harman Kardon. We have reported it to our technical team. 

I will keep you posted on the developments.

I can’t cast to my NAD AMP1. Pleas respond, I don’t want to leave Deezer, but I see no advantages in it if I can not cast my music hifi. 

I have 2 Harman/Kardon Omni20+ speakers

I'm beginning to wonder if Deezer will ever work again via Chromecast. So I created an account on Tidal and copied my entire library through Soundiiz, and I now have a 30-day trial hifi version, and playing via Chromecast works just fine.

I think that I will transfer to Spotify. I tried with Spotify premium account and Chromecast work fine 

I was also seeing soundiiz. I have to understand how transfer all my family profiles

Deezer fix this issue with Chromecast. It’s been over more than 2 months now and this is just absurd. People pay for your Hifi quality streaming service but what good is it when it doesn’t work?

Yesterday evening, on iOS, Deezer didn't find a Chromecast audio in my local network.

I also have problems with Google assistant with Deezer. Assistant sometimes don't find devices or groups

My annual subscription is over and I haven't renewed it. I'm willing to forgive Deezer for many shortcomings and basically zero progression, but if I can't even stream it, then it's useless to me.

Yes, i have the same situation. I use Pioneer speaker and with this device don’t work. I tried with nest hub: sometimes work, sometimes i have nest hub crash!

In my experience normally deezer with chromecast is an agony. But in the last days is worse. I think that i will change over to spotify

Still nothing. Just installed an update, but that did not seem to focus on fixing the actual problem. Going to try out Tidal. Also annoying that Deezer can’t seem to be bothered at all.

Deezer closed my subscription!

They don’t give me a free pass until they fix the bug. But they close my subscription!!!!!!!

As an observation, this doesn't appear to be an issue with Cromecast in general but with specific third-party implementations of Chromecast. I have an actual Chromecast dongle, a Chromecast Audio dongle and a Chromecast with Google TV dongle, all from Google, and all work fine. I can also cast to my Sony TV which has the Google TV OS. It's a current model and presumably has the current Google TV OS, whereas I suspect some receivers and soundbars might not be updating anore it'll they're not current.

So this is really upsetting, streaming via Chromecast again doesn't work. Tomorrow it might be, and in a week it won't be? I was happy to go back to Deezer, despite all the shortcomings because the sound quality seems better than Tidal, but the functioning of via Chromecast is a lottery.

To whom it concerns, I have no issues casting to a Chromecast Audio from the Deezer Android app, most recent updates on both devices.

I think the issue you're experiencing has to do with your HK Chromecast implementation and not Deezer. Deezer is still working with all of my Chromecast devices.

I tried from Android phone to Pioneer and from Android phone to JBL soundbar. Still nothing! Don't work

Now deezer is mostly used for streaming in high Quality through chromecast… how is it possible that this option is broken? Why did you break a good working option?? Fix it! This is not a free app… we pay you good money for this!!

We are waiting that Deezer developer fix this issue.
