When will Deezer have its own equalizer as VLC does? VLC has 10-bands, Amazon, 5-band, YouTube, 10-band

I have VLC on my android phone. It has a 10-band EQ. There is not basic EQ on my phone itself. But the VLC works perfectly. I can listen to different headphones with different capabilities and save the EQ setting. YouTube music has a 10-band EQ that works fine except you can’t save the setting for each headphone. Amazon has a 5-band toy EQ: the less said, the better.

So if I can’t get it, I may go back to YouTube, which is a pity because I like the album choices here on Deezer. Oh, I tried Spotify. Yikes. Like listening to mud.

I usually EQ my hard dance on Headphones app from Sony.

Sony Bluetooth headphones and earphones needed. The EQ on their app is insane.

It really makes plastic on the earphones shake!

As well if you feel like Sony is not the option, you can download EQ on Android store as an app. On Deezer Android settings, at least on A40 phone from Samsung is EQ available straight to use now.

Preferrably use only one EQ at a time.

If you need recommendations, please read this.

Here is how-to use Deezer built-in EQ.

https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115003861425-Equalizer

If you do not se EQ in Deezer settings, that means your device does not support one.

Our desktop app teams actually would love to develop this if we had more support :grinning:

To be honest, equalisers can often result in a worse sound, in my experience. So I've not used am equaliser in years, instead I pay a bit more for my audio equipment.

It's definitely the best option @DrEvil but some people can't afford it, so they prefer to equalise the sound for a different experience.

What equipment do you have? (for the purposes of this topic)

Yamaha receiver and subwoofer and Musiccast speakers. Powerful is an understatement 🤠

That surely is a boss-system! @DrEvil

We haven't performed well with MusicCast, but this year I'm hoping we sort out our integrations - work is being carried out

Thanks @Rudi for me Musiccast works well with Deezer, but as I said in other posts, Deezer really needs to stream over wifi, the sound quality and reliability of the stream is just miles better.

This is true, but works only if you have money ;(

I don’t know honestly any better than Sony headphones app, BT headphones HQ and playing with it.

I could afford more, but I feel like decent headphones wireless are enough.

I do not want speakers as my neighbours could go nuts with music I listen all day.

Agreed @DrEvil but fortunately we're finally working on developing that - I'm super excited for when we get to the end of the road
