What's wrong with Deezer's Songcatcher?

... Still. After a few MONTHS now... Listen To Search is not working. Sometimes it just closes the app completely, sometimes it just goes all white on the screen before it closes, and sometimes, it just kicks out to the main screen of Deezer, but it won't let me click on anything (I end up having to go to my Home screen and closing it out).
Please fix this, as there are lots of songs that I want to add, or even see if they're available, but this feature doesn't work. Again, please fix this issue. I have had my Deezer account since it was Muve Music with this same phone number. If any additional information is needed, feel free to contact me via my account contact information.

The issue is with Song Catcher.

I don't know how to find the "link" to the playlist, however, if you all can see them, it's the one titled, All Mixed.

In regards to what I hit to try and play that playlist - no matter how I try to play it, it doesn't work. Clicking on the list makes the screen go white, and the app closes, or it just refreshed itself to the main screen of the app. There is no way to play this playlist at all, not even choosing to add it to the current queue playing - it just doesn't work.

I'm not sure how to find my "OS Version," either.

Yes. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times... I've even uninstalled, cleared my app data & cache, powered off my phone, restarted, reinstalled, and still - nothing. 

The same goes for my largest playlist (1600+ songs); it will not load that screen, nor allow me to just hit play like it does for all other playlists. When I choose Add To Queue, the same thing happens - screen goes white, app closes.

Thanks for coming back @CRoss7747 :grinning: I was under the impression it was Song Catcher but our devs just wanted to be sure.

For your OS version, you need to go in the settings of your phone and look for 'about' - we need your Android version basically (Android is the OS). For the playlist link, just go into it and look for a button with 3 dots. You should then select 'share' and that'll give you a link so that you can post here :wink:

Sorry about that; I didn't know what"Answer" was, and when I clicked it, it changed colors & everything…

 

Nothing has changed in regards to my issue; it's still not working properly…

Version: 6.2.14.45

There are 22GB of available space left on my phone, 100GB left on my SD Card; that already includes the 12GB I'm already using for Deezer... My phone is an LG, LM-Q710CS.

Our devs got back to us with a few questions they need your help with.

In order to avoid confusion, please answer the following:

  1. Is the issue with the SongCatcher feature (as mentioned in the title) or with the search screen (as mentioned in the description)?
  2. Could we have clear steps to reproduce the issue? Let's say you open the app, what you do next, etc
  3. What’s the link of the buggy playlist? Also, could we have clear steps to reproduce the bug? (in particular, what “play” button is hit, from where do you add to queue list, for example?)
  4. What's the OS version of your device?

Currently, I am at work, however, when I go to break, I will give you all of that information. 

My apologies on the confusion - it's Song Catcher, I just think if it as "searching" for the song I'm listening to. 

Again, I will give you all of the other information in about an hour or so.

Still can't play the 2nd largest playlist, nor am I able to use Song Catcher... Months upon months, now...
