I get this very often after latest update 6.2.37.59. It fixed the app skipping songs,  but now this... + sometimes cannot add artist to favorites,  songs to playlists,  etc. I get new content notification, but when I tap on it it is not there in the news list... I uninstalled/reinstalled loged out/in.

The issues are fixed on force stop / reload app but it is annoying because it happens often.

I am on my second month with Deezer, and I don't like this many bugs... It will always be like this? :(

Too bad because I like the app more than others, but with this many bugs I see myself forced to go back.

Hey @Eddie C

Do you save on SD card?

If so: Please change to internal memory and test it. Thanks.

Hi

I have a SD card, but I don't use it for Deezer and I have no downloads, just streaming.

@Eddie C

Could you choose a different network, please?
So when you are in WLAN, switch to LTE / 5G?
Or if you are in LTE / 5G, switch to WiFi?

@dee_dirk

I tried this now as I got another error when searching. Tried switching from wifi to 4G, didn't fix it. Killed app and reloaded, fixed it…

After testing for some more days, I’m pretty sure that this content/page loading errors are happening when I’m going outside my Wi-Fi reach, when leaving my home, and the phone switches to 4G, or when I’m coming back. Like I mentioned, killing/reloading the app temporary fixes the issues until next network switch. But manually switching the networks did not fix it.

@Eddie C what mobile are you using?  Generally Android phones have a fast switching feature, which avoids data drop, I find leaving my mobile on, but connected to wifi works well.

@DrEvil I have Samsung Galaxy S10e. I always have both the Wi-Fi and 4G turned on, I don’t have data drops that cause playback interruptions when auto switching networks, is just when I tap on an album or artist, or search something I get “Unable to load page”.

@Eddie C Next suggestion is to uninstall Deezer, restart phone and try reinstall.  If that doesn’t work, contact Deezer support:

I used to get this all the time around the yard when out of WiFi range because of poor data coverage from my cell service provider. I assume the cell tower reported that data was an option so my phone switched to it, but then the data connection would time out. I've since switched providers and no longer see this.

Hi, everyone!

I have the same issue. I never use wi-fi, only mobile network. I have Samsung Galaxy S6. To fix this I delete temporary files by the means of Android OS. And Deezer imediately starts to work. But in several hours it stops working again.

Hey Vitz, have you tried reinstalling the app? Do you have an SD card in your mobile?

Hi!

Yes, I tried to reinstall. When I was having a "Track skip issue" I joined the beta-program and installed beta version. The "track skip issue" was fixed in that version, but i faced another problem: all album covers were mixed on all tracks. For example when playing ZZ Top the cover was from Madonna. And it was on absolutely all tracks. I didn't report this problem here and just waited for an update. Some time later I decided to cancel the beta-program and installed stable version. The "Track skip problem" is gone, "Album cover problem" is gone too, but "could not load page problem" came. Reinstalling did not help.

There is no SD card support in Galaxy S6. The program uses only internal memory.

Clearing temp files 100% fixes the problem. But not for too long.

Hello @Vitz is this happening both on Data and Wifi? Do you have enough space allocated to the Smart Cache (the dot should be at least at the middle of the bar)?

I do not use wifi. I don't have it. Only mobile data. Unlimited plan.

The middle of the bar is 9 gb. This is too much. I don't have so  much free space on my device. I set 2gb. And when I face the issue the total size of cache is never more then 200mb. So I think the cache is not the reason.

This problem still persists for me too, another version came out since my initial post and it is not solved. I tried everything including Log out > Clear cache / clear data > Uninstall app > Turn off phone > Remove SD card (although I don’t use it for Deezer) > Turn on phone > Clean install > Test for 2 days > Problem back > SD card back in.

Additionally after last version, there’s another problem: Wavelet app (EQ app) stopped working. I have EQ enabled in Deezer settings and it worked previously.

I’m quitting Deezer for now and going back to Spotify or Tidal. Maybe I’ll come back after some time to check if the software gets better because I really liked the interface and recommendations.

Thank you for 3 months Hi-Fi free with Sony XM4 360 Reality Audio promo.

Hey, I reconsidered and I'm staying with Deezer for now. "Monday Discovery" is too good for me to leave it.  And Deezer is the only service that lets me use paypal in my country.

Just fix the app please...

hey @Eddie C and @Vitz I am investigating about the Error message.

With the new version of the app, do you still get both error messages (unable to load page and an error has occurred) or just one?

@Eddie C do you still have the issue with Wavelet app (EQ app) ? Have you tried and contact them?

Hi

I don't have any updates available.

Hi, @Yula lately I only get “Unable to load page”, for example just now I tested. Earlier I went out for a walk (4G) listening to an album. Now I’m home (Wi-Fi), I opened Deezer, the “Now Playing” page with the album was still there, playing works fine. But if i tap [Three dots] > [Artist Picture] to go to Artist page , I get “Unable to load page”.

I opened Favorite Albums, clicked on some. Recent ones open fine, Some albums added a few days ago I get the same error.
Force stop Deezer > Reload > Everything works fine. All content that I got error with, and everything loads normally.

About Wavelet : I don’t use it that often, but I am sure it worked when I first installed Deezer 3 months ago, and now it only works in Legacy Mode, and every time I have to re-enable Legacy Mode in Wavelet. They have a page with requirements for every app that support Wavelet, and for Deezer it is only needed to activate EQ in Deezer settings, but not using Samsung system EQ, just enabling the setting for Wavelet to pick up Deezer usage. By the way I use Galaxy S10e with Android 11, dunno if I mentioned.

You should try Wavelet, it is a very good app.

Thanks for investigating this issue.
