the app is skipping my songs

I would be listening to a song but as soon as I go back on the app directly, it skips the song I was listening to, to a song that isn't even the queue

Its strange, I did not face any issue like this. Song will be in your queue list that’s why its playing. For more information, you can wait for any moderator reply. He/She can guide you better about this.

Yeah, is weird, must be a bug. Try to update to next version as soon as it’s available.

Hello! I have one problem that started few days ago. When I chose my song and click back to playlist, it stops and previous song start playing. I have video of this problem, but i can't attach it here.

I've reinstalled app and cleaned cache already.

I have a similar problem too since last update. Playing a few songs, phone in pocket, then when opening the screen / app the song skips back to the previous even though it still displays the song I was listening to before opening the screen/app. This happens either if I live the app open or bring it to front from the recent apps.

I have the exact same problem they listed, it started with the latest update (Version 6.2.36.65 on a samsung A51)

I have this exact issue! It's most frustrating - I thought I was losing the plot! It started last week. It is exactly as described - when I open the app (maybe just to see who the artist is) it randomly goes back to previous 3 songs ago but shows the song I was on. Then if I click next it shows the correct song but still one I've just heard. 

I'm also getting an issue where Deezer just stops and when I open the app it says "failed to load" and if I click retry it will sometimes play the song, sometimes skip to previous songs again! Very frustrating as I've recently started playing for Premium but if these issues continue I may go back to using the free version.

Hi all. Our developers informed us that the problem has been fixed already in the beta version of the app, and a permanent fix will be available with the next release of the Deezer app.

When the the next release is expected? This bug is irritating to say the least. I don’t want to use beta version.

Yeah, I think this calls for a hot-fix type release ASAP, not wait more days until next version. Don't want to bother with beta enrol either.

Hi all, exactly the same thing happening here as well, changed phone last night as well downloading newest version and problem still occurs. No sign of a update. 

I just downloaded the latest update and it seems to work for me !! I will update if i notice anything though. Thank you for the response

I downloaded the beta version as suggested, which fixes the strange skipping back to previous songs but I am still constantly receiving the error of cannot load and retry. I can sometimes only listen to about 3 songs before deezer stops. I had this before I went onto the beta version but it's continued. I should mention there is nothing wrong with my WiFi connection.

Does this happens with the latest official version 6.2.37.54 as well?

I am not sure - do I need to leave the Beta programme in order to download the latest official version? As I've looked at the instructions to leave but I don't seem to have the option as described.

You can go to the Play Store and select Quit the test version, then download the latest version of the app.

No, because as I said, I can't find a way to cancel out of the Beta version. I tried uninstalling but I only had the option to reinstall Beta. I read the instructions it says for leaving Beta on Deezer help page - but those options don't come up for me in the play store under my apps. 🤔
