Hello @vita

I’ve cleared the cache of your account on the system.

Is that happening only with that album or with other albums as well?

Have you already performed the troubleshooting steps for Android?:

If you are using the battery saving mode on your device, turn it off while you are carrying out this test.

  • Go to your device settings ➡️ Apps & Notifications ➡️ Deezer ➡️ Storage & Cache ➡️ Clear Cache
  • Open the Deezer app ➡️ Gearwheel in the top right corner ➡️ Log out at the bottom of the page
  • Turn off then on your device
  • Log in to Deezer

If you have an SD card in your device, please:

  1. Open the Deezer app ➡️ Gearwheel in the top right corner ➡️ Data & Storage ➡️ Disk Usage ➡️ click on the path link and change it to internal storage

That should fix the problem,

Thanks ;)

Hi @Alfredo. It happened before with another album. I just tried those steps, didn't help. I could've try clearing cache directly through Deezer or clearing storage instead of cache. But the thing is, if I do that I loose all downloaded music. But it's not a solution, I can't do that everytime this bug appears

It's a big that's been around for a long time as I've had this happen quite a few times over the years. It seems to have something to do with losing wifi connectivity since everything is downloaded if I don't interrupt the download once started by leaving the house. I've found that the missing tracks are eventually downloaded but the app needs some sort of 'kick' to force it. Unfortunately I don't know what it is that gets it going again. Adding another track, rebooting, turning off network connectivity and reconnecting, hopping up and down on one foot, ??

Changing storage location will certainly restart the redownload process but there's no guarantee it'll complete either, and its both sad and disappointing that the solution that is often suggested is to stop using an SD card. Fix the app.

@Rick P. @vita

It honestly breaks my heart seeing so many people complaining at the download feature. I also have several problems with it. It breaks my heart because I want to stay on Deezer, but the app makes it too difficult. One moderator told me about a month ago that downloads weren’t a priority for Deezer because they want to focus on streaming, so I don’t think they’re fixing that any time soon.

I’m using both Spotify and Deezer right now, but even though Spotify has a 10,000 download limit per device, it is a thousand times more stable. I don’t want to switch from Deezer, because they have so many things I love as a service, but downloads are an important part of my listening experience and it’s not a priority for the company, then maybe Deezer shouldn’t be my priority as a costumer.
