Song forever loading and possible workaround on Deezer Android app

Hi 
Last month I had a trouble with long songs loading. It took about 5 minutes to start to play most of the songs. Clearing cache, restarting the phone, redownloading app didn't help.

But the problem has gone when I unchecked all checkboxes in privacy settings.

Also, I have a problem with desktop version. I often have to click several times on a play button to make it work. This problem has gone when I allow some truckers in the Privacy Badger add-on.

In order for us to help you, we need a few more details from you. The device (s) you use, the app versions and what steps you take to get the loading error. This is so that we can try to reproduce the issue on our side and find out how to possibly fix it.

Have you tried changing the audio quality settings to see if it makes a difference?

Hi!

  1. LG G7+ ThinQ Android 10
  2. App has been updated recently. Current version is 6.2.15.146. But I don’t know if error reproduces on this version
  3. I just listened to music. But it seemed to me that I got error when app tried to play songs which it hadn’t played before.
  4. I haven’t tried changing the audio quality. I use “the best quality” (but not lossless).

Sorry that's happening. Could you try the following steps, exactly in this order, to see if it helps with your issue?

  • make sure you're connected to a wifi network
  • uninstall Deezer
  • clean your phone's cache
  • remove the SD card (if applicable)
  • turn off your phone
  • reinstall Deezer
  • open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
  • reinsert the SD card (if applicable)
