Search not working on Android


Sometime recently search stopped working on Android for me. I can type in the search field, but no results show. My searches are added to my list of previous searches just to rub salt in the fresh wound, lol. Help! I can't listen to much if I can't search.

@Rudi yes. stopped working completely. Restart and reinstall did not help.
I tried wiping the cache partition via recovery now, and it fixed the problem.

@zentagonist Hey! Thanks for reaching out 🙂 Can you check if you have full connectivity on your mobile? If so, can you make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the app? This must be 6.1.1.55 😉
Same issue - I've reinstalled the app to ensure that it's the latest version. It's not connectivity, everything plays just fine when you select something from e.g. the suggestions on the home page, it's just the search function does nothing. @zentagonist the workaround I've been using is to Google what you're after, followed by "Deezer" - the links via Google will open in the app and then you can listen.

Fix asap would be appreciated 🙂

what is your device and app version?
Hi. Pls I'm currently experiencing similar issues with my Deezer. The search page never brings up any results even though I can type in the search bar. This has prevented me from adding new songs. And even worse the home page keeps loading and never shows anything. And it's not the connection and the app is up to date. Pls help.

Hello, same issue here. Not connectivity problem, and do have the latest update. Pls fix it.

App version: 6.1.3.58
Device: OnePlus 3
Android 9.0

Was working fine until today, no changes made to the phone. Reinstall did nothing.

@Rudi The steps are to search for anything. Searching has just stopped working.

@orco at any point during the use of the app? Has it stopped completely?
After restarting the app or phone, does it happen again?
