[Premium user] [Android]: can't find play next/add to queue

Hello,

I'm a new user, and I can't seem to find an option to play a song next/ add it to the queue, which is quite frustrating.

I'm a premium user, and I'm using the Android app.

Screenshot attached.

Am I doing something wrong?

Could someone please help?

I have already reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, nothing worked. :(

Thanks in advance.

Hi there @amrmonster

Sorry about that. Which version of the Android app do you have?

Hi Rudi,

Thanks for your reply,

The version is: 6.1.15.86

I've actually discovered something, the option is not there only when I pick a song from search results,

So if I select a song from search results after I search for it, this happens,

If, however, I pick a song from an album or from an artist's page, everything is normal, and I have the "Play Next" function.

Hi guys,

It really grinds my gears not being able to add random tracks to my current play queue. It seems indeed this option is not built in properly.  Why would you make 'building up a play queue' conditional? Hope to find this option any time soon. I want to be able to add any song at any time, regardless of the playlist, album or built up queue I am currently listening.

BR,

Michael

Hello @Rudi

This seems to be fixed in the Android app, but not in the desktop/web app.
Do you have any infos ?

Thanks

Same problem, still not able to find “play nex” function in some playlist, specific when im listen to my downloaded musics.

For me “play next” works every time from the web app but it doesn’t work when I’m casting from my android device.  Pretty frustrating.

This has been broken since 2018, and there are no plans to fix it:

Hi @MrHaroldA unfortunately these option aren’t available yet when you are casting.

Workaround is to build first the list of content you want to play and then cast the content to the specific device.

Hi @MrHaroldA unfortunately these option aren’t available yet when you are casting.

That does not work when entertaining guests who may request some songs during the party.

I thought you wanted a more connected experience with the rebrand? Then this must be resolved asap.
