When playing a downloaded playlist (to be playable in offline mode) or an album I would expect the next song to automatically start after the current song ends and now issues with loading etc.
The current behavior, I have downloaded titles and during playing those ones after some titles, playing stops and strange notification "Loading... You are almost there, just a few seconds" is shown endless.

Only stop and start from the beginning is healing.

What was noticable as well, that sometimes downloaed files was played as scratched or digitized noise instead of a normal song...

Some screens to prove.

I have the same issue (Xiaomi Mi 9T). There is a troubleshooting routine pasted around in the main support topic, but it’s all around ejecting SD cards and making sure your cache/offline files go on built-in storage. Not the case on my device.

Reinstalled the application, cleared cache, made sure there’s enough smart cache space (5+ GB sounds like enough), all the usual suspects.

Same thing happens whether it’s offline files, flow or another playlist, headphones or bluetooth casting. Can only listen to a bunch of songs (like ~5) before it stops like this, it’s very annoying.

(Please remove the “mark as the best answer”, otherwise it’ll look like the issue is resolved - it’s not)

This issue is not resolved. As described Iliachenvaar have the same issue as well.

My mobile is Xiaomi Mi 9 as well.

I don’t know whats happened. How to turn back to be still as open ticket?

no update?

Maybe make a new topic if this one can’t be “reopened”. This is VERY JARRING issue and makes Deezer unusable on Android - I literally have to check back every few minutes when on headphones or streaming music, because once it stops, it never continues on it’s own.

It’s strange that nobody replied even topic is answered… I will create a new one.

It’s likely this only happens on locked screen. I have also tried to change some system functions in Xiaomi MI UI, like disabling battery-saving mode for Deezer app when it’s on lock screen, but nothing changed.

Hi there @dxtr80 @Iliachenvaar

Thank you for your patience. This is a discussion topic, not a 'support ticket'. The answer feature is a tool to update all topic members of an update to the discussion.

Regarding the issue, does this happen with the same tracks or randomly? Could you please check the audio settings within the app, and change the quality? Let me know how it goes, we're trying to narrow it down. As @Iliachenvaar mentioned above, there's a basic troubleshooting guide for Android issues. However, in this case, it seems that the problem is affecting a specific device - as both of you have the same one. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Hi @Rudi,

for me, it happens randomly, mainly by driving a car. Phone (Xiaomi Mi 9) is not blocked during playing tracks in this case.

In my case, this fix not helped me, so for sure this is a prove that one device is affected by this.

This question is still active but tracked in a new ticket. Let’s continue there.

I have exactly the same issue on my Xiaomi Mi 9T as @Iliachenvaar. Is there any update or solution?

Userlevel 1

Guys, ticket according this was reported by me yesterday. We are now need to wait :)

@Rudi Thanks for the response. I tried reducing the audio quality (but it happens on WiFi so bandwidth shouldn’t be an issue), this happens with all sorts of tracks (specific playlists as well as Flow), mostly on locked screen but also happened on unlocked as well.

It usually happens like 4-5 songs in, just as if there were a few songs pre-fetched, and the player stops when it gets to the first one it actually needs to download to cache (guessing here).

Anyway, thanks @dxtr80 for properly reporting it, hope it gets looked at ;)

Thanks again @Iliachenvaar. I have a feeling it could be related to the device model. In any case, keep us posted @dxtr80 and I'll do the same from here :thumbsup_tone2:

My app is doing the same thing now 2 weeks ago was fine could play my downloaded songs with no problem without internet but now will not even load if I don't have internet signal. If I start playing while I have Internet it starts to play but as soon as I go offline it freezes after 3 songs.

I have android with the latest version 6.1.18.94 and have also upped the cache limit and do not use sd card

Rudi it is not a device problem it is more of an android update issue. I have also commented on this problem. My downloaded songs will not play whilst I am offline. Yes I have checked that I have allowed it and also changed my cache limit

I have a Huawei

Thanks for the feedback @no.

Please follow my reply on the other topic. There's a hotfix for that issue available :relaxed:

I’ve installed the latest version of the app - 6.1.18.113, but the issue still persists. :worried:

@Rudi: have you received some positive feedbacks, that claim that this hotfix helps?

I’ve installed the latest version of the app 6.1.18.113, but the issue still persists. :worried:

Has anybody other experience?
