Hi there, as explained above we are working on this part of the app and hopefully get it back soon. We kindly ask for patience ;)
I’m sorry, Flo. We have been patient. This feature hasn’t been working for over a month for me. And it’s the second time in 3 months it has stopped working. And no amount of smiley faces are going to make me any more patient.

As the commenters above have made clear, this is a key feature within your app and a major reason to use it. If it’s unavailable, why should we be paying a subscription for a part-functioning app?

It’s not acceptable to give an unspecific timeline and expect everyone to be just patient. Would you be patient if you had the same service anywhere else? This is a key feature - it should be a priority for your devs to fix and they should be working to a fixed timeline. And users of your service should be compensated accordingly. Otherwise, what’s compelling us to stay with deezer vs Spotify or Apple Music?

Would appreciate a more considered and customer-orientated response. For all of us.

if you remove functions from your app before you have an enhancement, or a new function, it's not professional. You should lower the price of your service for the downtime. one day for the program change is ok, one month is only bad service.

If he says "on my phone" I guess, he means in the notifications.
Guys, relax! Deezer recognized for sure that it was no good idea to remove a feature too soon with follow-up development taking more(?) time as intended.
"Soon" in terms of beta availability means just that: developers started implementation and we will get it when it is done. Don't forget that there can be obstacles in the way and priority might be not as high as you wish.

When Deezer decided to touch the feature they analyzed probably how often it is used on mobiles. If the usage was low, their decision to improve it with the goal of increasing the engagement with mobile app and recommendations was right.

Notifications feature got not improved since it's release. It just was time to do something.
Dear Deezer, I have been your costumer for several years, but recently im getting rather unsatisfied with your service: in the past you updated your music recommandations very often, at least daily, but now the last recommendation to what i should be listening to came a week ago!!!!!

Im seriously consider switching to another stream provider.

Hey Dave, you are being charged because your subscription is active and in use, that's what you pay for every month. If you need more insight on the notifications, please read the conversation above.
I use the deezer app on android phone.
Under recommandations is no new updated since one month.
If I use deezer on webside I do get new recommandations.

Whats the problem?

Got a problem with automatic feed update on my account - both on mobile app and via browser. It is stucked some days/weeks ago and update since.
Did the re-login on browser and app, but no better.

I have one idea for a workaround. I use ifttt.com. There I created 2 applets: when I get an album recommended, I add a track of this album to a "recommended album" playlist. Same works for a recommended track where you could add the track to a "recommended tracks" playlist.

After restarting to use Deezer (was using Spotify the last months), I got first "hear this" recommendations Today. They are visible in the desktop client (for Windows at least). I also got the recommended albums in my "recommended albums" playlist thanks to the ifttt.com applet.

This is a nice workaround for getting the recommendations on the mobile app as long as the feature is not directly accessible in the app.

Maybe this is a temporary solution for you as well?

just letting you know that I am VERY IMPATIENTLY working for this feature to be back,
premium member for years
so dissapointed for you guys to remove that without any warning or workaround, nor date to be redesigned, etc.
core feature for me.
Please speed up the pace, and if possibly I'd like to get the access to BETA programme too.

I understand that this is frustrating and I wish I could give you more details, but the feature is in the testing phase and should be available to all users very soon. I'll give you more details as soon as I can 🙂 Thanks a lot for being patient! 🙂
Hi I used to enjoy my notifications music suggestions. However for the past 3 months there has not been any new suggestions for me

Hi all

In the past month or so the notifications tab (Android beta deezer app) is not updating /barly updating . I have checked with someone else and he has the same problem on the released Deezer version app for android . Anyone with the same problem ?

It is not truth that notification functionality works on desktop app. I use it on Windows 10 and there is the same issue. I can't believe that take You so long time to restore functonality witch earlier works perfectly.
Ok, here is just one more voice blowing in the wind. its been months and counting since we've lost "hear this" functionality on our apps. No coincidence the most related topic to this one is "How to cancel your Deezer subscription".
As a less than a month old subscriber I thought Deezer Android app never had the Hear this feature but by the looks of it, it was there and was just removed. I'm really enjoying it's recommendations on web. Man you guys really know how to fuck up a killer product.
Every time I launch Deezer I see that the last recommendation was more than 3 months ago. Every time I see it I cry. Don't want to cry anymore. Goodbye Deezer, I moved the entire music library to another online music provider and their recommendations work great. Moreover it's cheaper. So sad you ignore our concerns.
