new albums can not be added to favorites on Deezer Android app

Hi, 

From some time, I can not add new albums to my fav. After clicking heart icon, it says that album was added to fav, but it isn't. I have over 1ths albums. It is so irritating, that frankly I wonder whether not change streaming platform. Does anybody know any solution, I've got the upgraded version. My husband has already given up.

Delete app. Reboot your phone. Install app.

Does it help? Do you face same issue if you add album to favorites on your computer?

Hello, I am having the same problem, but only with albums of 2019 and 2020. I tried your solution but it didn't work. It's not only on my phone, also on tablet and computer. No idea what to do.

Thank you for your advice. I have deleted app, and installed it once again. It didnt help. But I've noticed that despite I can not see new albums the counter is changing. I open my desktop version and my albums appear. So it is some app error. In other discussion it was said that app can show only first 1 ths of albums. Can I change it?

Sorry that's happening. Could you try the following steps, exactly in this order, to see if it helps with your issue? If it doesn't, please let us know which version of the Android app you have.

  • make sure you're connected to a wifi network
  • uninstall Deezer
  • clean your phone's cache
  • remove the SD card (if applicable)
  • turn off your phone
  • reinstall Deezer
  • open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
  • reinsert the SD card (if applicable)

I have Deezer on my laptop, phone and tablet. Today I found out that the albums I've tried to add on the phone and tablet are in my library on the version on the laptop. Haven't used Deezer on my laptop for a while. Since the number of albums is the same on all my devices (1,098), I assume that they are added to my library on phone and tablet but that I just can't see them there.

When I try to add any album from 2019 onwards on phone or tablet it says it has been added to my library, but the heart doesn't turn red. I just tried it again, and yes, the number of albums has gone up, I can see the album in my library on my laptop but not on the phone or tablet. Anything from before 2019 I add I can see immediately in the library on all the devices.

On my laptop I have Deezer version 4.31.0, on the tablet and phone it is version 6.12.17.87.

I hope this gives you the information you need.

Work-in-progress @Andor Mostert there has been some improvements but it seems that we're not there yet.

What version of our apps do you have at the moment? Please let me know for multiple devices!

On my phone and tablet I currently have version 6.2.24.64. On my laptop version 4.33.1.
