Clearing cache doesn't work. It works for one track but as soon as I click on a different playlist it pops up again. version 6.2.27.2 beta. Doesn't matter if I'm Wifi or Mobile data.

Update the app and your phone software

First, if you’re not on the latest version of the Deezer app, update it.

And we know you’re tired of hearing about updates, but updating your phone’s operating system will help your streaming. So, if you haven’t already done so, you should also update to the latest version of your phone’s operating system.

    • android
    • iOS

Uninstall and reinstall the Deezer app

  1. Delete the Deezer app from your device
    • Android: touch the app and hold, then drag to uninstall
    • iOS: touch the app and hold, then use the menu to delete app.
    • Restart your device
  2. Reinstall the app again (you may have to restart your device again afterwards)

For a full list of steps, see our reinstall deezar article.

Reset Deezer by removing your phone’s SD card (Android devices only)

Note: Before you try to remove your SD card, check your device has a removable SD card in your technical documentation or with a quick web search, ensuring you follow your manufacturer's guidelines

  1. Uninstall the Deezer app
  2. Turn off your device and remove your SD card
  3. Restart your device and reinstall the app again
  4. Change the storage location for downloaded content, within the Deezer app
    • Tap on the Settings  icon (displayed on the top-right corner on any of your Deezer tabs)
    • Scroll, then tap on Data and storage
    • Scroll down to Disk Usage
    • Click Change Storage
  5. Turn off your device and re-insert your SD card

That's a pretty generic response. I have a Pixel so I always have the latest update. Uninstalled. Restarted phone. Reinstalled Deezer.

Thanks for the efforts @parithviRaj good suggestions!

In this case @AhJong @chughes_wisely it could be a network issue. I know you mentioned that the same happens either on Wifi or mobile data. But could you please try restarting your router after a few minutes, and the phone at the same time? In any case, I've reported the issue to our devs :relaxed:

I appreciate it. I've done all of the basic troubleshooting steps. I downgraded back to the non beta version as it doesn't seem to have this issue.

Hello @Rudi I did it, but the issue still present in WiFi and 3G.

There are two videos how to reproduce it quickly (WiFi and 3G)

Hello Rudi, thank you for help. The problem still appears while fast tracks skipping. But I think that it’s minor issue and I can live with it. Anyway if you will need any additional info or tests from me I’ll glad to do it.

Have you tried changing the audio quality to see if the tracks play normally? Just a thought...

Hello Rudi,

yes, I’ve tried all quality settings. Also I spent some time to examine logcat (Android logs) and did not find anything unusual there.

I’ll plan to try the app on another phones. May be the issue because of my phone manufacture (Huawei), may be because of some other installed apps.

Hi I'm getting this issue as well.

Nothing is working to fix it

Thanks a lot @AhJong we're still investigating into it.

Hey @jeanschuchardt @jersee thanks for contributing to the discussion - could you please tell me the device model, OS and Deezer app version?

Hello, I did not not have buffering issue the whole day yesterday up to now. Hope the issue is finally fixed.

It could be a network hiccup too @jersee not necessarily Deezer. But please do keep me posted about it!

Hello, same problem on all connections.

Also there were specific tracks in my playlist that always got this error. After removing the cache this tracks works but still get error occasionally with no pattern.

Also I somehow managed to play two audio streams at once. First song was playing in the background even when I closed Deezer app from my recents. The other one was playing from the app normally with working control buttons.

Galaxy S20+ latest update, Deezer 6.2.29.1

Same problem here, this makes Deezer completely unusable for me.

Please make a hotfix so that Deezer keeps trying instead of giving up and requiring me to stop what I’m doing, unlocking my phone, opening the app, waiting for it to load and hitting “try again”. I want to listen to music, not babysit the app I’m paying for.

Maybe allow full buffering of multiple songs in a flow on Wifi?

Having Deezer break after every song is getting old pretty darn quick...

Thanks for the feedback and apologies for the experience you've been having @F_Face @boria

Please help us investigating this issue by posting your Deezer app and Android versions :thumbsup_tone2:

I get the same error message, but non of these solutions help. Is there anything else I can try?
