Music will not play on Deezer

I just got a new phone. I downloaded Deezer got my account logged in but it won't play any music. I have all my music downloaded. I've updated the app, I uninstalled and reinstalled it two different times. It still plays on my old phone just fine but not on my new phone. I got a LG Stylo 6 brand new today and I've tried everything connecting to WiFi doesn't work either, My premium account is paid so I don't understand why it won't play no music. It just continuously says, "Almost there.. Loading." I have so much music downloaded I really don't want to have to make a new account and do it all over again!

Hello again.

I updated my Deezer Premium app to the newest version and it streams better now. Haven’t seen “Wait a second” in a while now when streaming on my 1 Mb/s 4G plan. It streams right away or in a matter of seconds without this banner and Downloading thing. I am happy with that.

Will keep an eye closer to it.

Maybe try to update your Deezer app as well?

1 Mbps unlimited internet I pay €6,90 a month, and is very suitable, I play 320K MP3 forced. Data usage last month almost 50 GB, because music is my life. Now without banners wait a second. It seems like someone worked on it, or something else changed, fits my needs.

Namaskaram

I assume you have good, fast internet, yes or no?

It is claimed that Deezer is aware of this issue and they are looking to improve playback.

I have 1 Mbps on my personal phone and 300 Mbps mobile 4G+ connections and they all show this banner sometimes. Even if I had metered 222 Mbps on 4G+ and had this issue streaming.

Read more here.

It is clear that problem is for everyone, not just for you. Isn’t it?

I also recommend to keep your Deezer app always updated as this may improve anytime.

Hello again.

4 days since update and no more I have this streaming problem on my slowish €6,90 phone plan with 1 Mbps 4G only. It is fast enough for 320K music and 480P videos, but otherwise consider it slow. I pay less, and can enjoy music with occasional video, so it works for me. Now without loading.

Thank you Deezer for fixing it.

Now it shows wait a second only on poor coverage as it should. Before it was all the time.

Today on the playlist:

Thank you Deezer again for the finest music flow on mobile phone, now buffering free.

Thank you, DNA will not like this fix!

Listening so much more music on the go, unlimited data… price is like stealing data.

Last month 1 GB of a transfer cost me 13 cents :joy: 50 GB last month.

€6,90 1 Mbps is a steal and now when Deezer streams, it just flows.

About DNA. DNA is finnish mobile provider.

DNA’s customers use the most mobile data per subscription in the world, says a recent report by international research company Tefficient. During the first half of this year, the use of mobile data per subscription rose to a whopping 33.1 GB per month, compared with 25.3 GB per month last year.

As a rough estimate, 33.1 GB of mobile data can mean, for example, about 22 hours of full HD video, nearly 300 hours of good-quality streaming music or more than 330 hours of Instagram browsing per month. Of course many apps also are using data in the background which may add.
