Hi @raop21

Please see above for more info.
Hi all, same problem here with Huawei P30.
The songs are jumping and when playing them again it's always at the same places so I can only guess they are "buffered" in a wrong way.
Same issue and extremely annoyed! We are considering cancelling. Been long term ongoing. Is there any sign of resolution??

@Jaco66

Hopefully on the next version of our app, but it hasn't been confirmed yet. Please stand by.
Spanking new Huawei p30 pro and new app. Tracks skip all the time which they never did with old HTC U11. think this needs sorting out ASAP otherwise you'll lose alot of customers, this is the paid version as well. Spotify will be rubbing their hands.

Hi @s9wba there is a new version of our app in the works which will fix the problem hopefully as described above. Please bear with us 😉
I saw there is an update available. Should this fix the issue? In my case it still doesn't work properly, means songs are still skipping

Hey @Jaco66

Perhaps wait until the next release. What version are you on now?

I am also having this issue on a Huawei p20 Pro. The music jumps and skips parts of songs frequently. Please fix this ASAP!
Hey @Jaco66

Version 6.1.0.89 on a Huawei P20 Lite.
I've recently switched to Huawei P20 PRO (couple of weeks). Songs are now jumping like a good old scratched CD or even skipping to next one altogether. This is definitely annoying.

It is happening right now, while I'm writing, after uninstalling Deezer and downloading latest version from Play Store (as suggested in similar posts). Smart Cache is 20 MB, space allocated for Smart Cache is 11.1 GB. Music is streaming in "Standard" quality over 4G, speedtest results: DOWN 18.4 Mbps, UP 1.22 Mbps, ping 25 ms, jitter 8ms.

I'm positive this is not a network speed issue. Never happened before, not even while driving in areas with worse coverage than the one I happen to be in right now.

Huawei P20 PRO (CLT-L09), Android 8.1.0, kernel 4.4.103.
Deezer version: latest available on Play Store.
Deezer subscription: Premium.

How is this listed as solved if even on the newest version 6.1.1.55 (or whatever!) its still not working.
The only thing I'm glad to hear is that I'm not going crazy and it's not just me!
I updated to version 6.1.1.55 and then reinstalled the app. Since then (almost 24 hrs) it's running without skipping. Fingers crossed
This has been frustrating me for a while now using my Huawei honor 8. When I found out that one of my favourite songs was jumping (in horrendous fashion) then that was the breaking point. It appears a solution has been in the pipeline for 5 months so can't see it being fixed anytime soon. Maybe if less time was spent developing new logos/interfaces and more time was spent sorting known bugs then more users would be retained. As it is I'll be heading back to Spotify.
After 3 days without skipping, for me the problem is solved... I moved back from Spotify to Deezer
