Jumping and skipping songs on Huawei phones

Please check this topic for more info and help. We've been looking into this issue for quite some time.
I already read some topics about this, and they all say that songs jumps only on Huawei phones. I have Huwei P smart 2019 and almost every song jumps. I deleted cache already and it doesn't help. Is there any solution to this? Please help.
I haven't noticed that anyone sent video proof of this so I will:

Hey guys,

We've been aware of a couple of workarounds that might help some of you. Please follow it up and let me know if it's successful or not:

1) change location where music is saved

2) try: Huawei phone settings >> Apps and Notifications >> Apps >> Deezer >> then enable notifications and save

My notifications already were on, but I tried this first method and it's finally working, I'll see if it gets back but if it's not I am definitely continuing on Deezer premium subscription

Hi there. I have p20 lite and experiencing major discomfort and satisfaction when listening to Deezer due to the songs jumping and skipping.

I see people posting about this month's ago and still I'm struggling with it. I cleaned the cache and enabled notifications etc etc... Please assist.

Have you tried change the storage location as I've mentioned above?
Can Any1 help the songs in playing keep jumping back to a bit I've already heard,its starting to irritate me any ideas on how to fix this welcome.

My name is žan. Im a user of deezer for almost a year. The app is great and averything. But last three months im having problems with playing the music on my android app.

The thing is that sometimes music plays ok, somtimes after a minute rolls back. And again after two minutes the same. I've tried to reinstall the app but the same thing over and over again.

But please dont say something is wrong with my phone im using android 8.0 and the system is alway up to update so as the apps.

Ive allowed my brother to login with his phone on deezer with my account and its making the same thing.

Im also using SoundCloud and there is music playing ok.

If ure wondering if this is also happening on the web app. There is working perfectly. So i think there is a problem on the application.


I hope this problem will be fixed soon so that i can listen to my music again.

Hi! I have the same problem with my Huawei P20 lite. On my lap top Deezer works correctly. When you will fix it?

Please check this topic for workarounds and updates if you have a Huawei phone - I'm assuming you do. And then let me know if things get better 😉
Hiya I have tried all the workarounds and its still doing it. I will add my daughter is signed in on my account too and its also doing it on her Samsung galaxy s7
Have the same issue but not on all songs 😐
Hey @Rudi, thanks a lot for your help. I have a Mate 20 Pro, tried all the workarounds I could find, including yours, but nothing works, some songs still skip... Do you have any idea if the dev team is close to finding a solution for this issue?

Thanks for trying it all, shame it didn't work. Our devs are investigating this critical issue at the moment and I'll let you know once I get an update.

I've changed the location where the music is saved and it still jumps back and forth in the song but it happens not so often but still it happens. Anybody with a new solution. I don't want to spend money for premium description with this issue still around.

Hey there @Adnan. Basic

I'm sorry we haven't finished working on this one. Have you tried solution 2 about notifications? Keep your app updated as well, we've been working on multiple fixes.
As soon as I get an update I'll come back here.
