I can't login to my Deezer account

I have not been able to log onto my Deezer app for over 3 Weeks now. Everytime it just says "an error occurred, please try again later" or "connection to Deezer. Com failed" I've had zero help from the support team, I've sent screen Shots upon screen Shots!! They are pathetic at the help desk. I would hate to lose all my music I've been collecting over the years!! Someone PLEASE HELP! My phone doesn't have the *settings *app * Deezer. My Huawei P30 doesn't have all the apps listed there, so I can't clear sache etc...

Hello @Jess Ornellas-Brand the Deezer app on Huawei P30 has the settings and it’s possible to clear the cache too. Have you tried contacting Support via Webchat? Maybe on a live chat it will be easier to get the help you need.

Hello @Jess Ornellas-Brand,

  • One of the first thing that could be causing what you’re experiencing are corrupt caches - and you might want to follow these instructions from Huawei on how to Clear Cache and Clear Data here.
  • If that doesn’t solve your problem, uninstall Deezer, Restart your Phone, Install Deezer once again. (Don’t worry, you won’t lose any of your favourite songs or playlists -  you just need to log back in with your credentials).
  • If the problem persists - since the error represents a failure connecting to deezer.com, can you try using a different internet connection - eg. using Wi-Fi instead of mobile data and vice versa.

Above steps should almost always solve your problem - kindly reply back here with updates on how it goes.

They have the wrong user ID number

Thanks guys. I took the chance and just deleted it, on my Huawei, when I held over the app to uninstall it said I'd lose all my songs etc. But i just ignored that. Deleted the data, reloaded and it worked. I wish the Deezer Online "support" team would have been as much help as above. Thank you!!
