I can no longer cast to SONY CMT-SX7B with Chromecast built-in

Within the last couple of weeks I have lost the ability to cast Deezer to my Sony CMT-SX7B music system from both my Android phone and tablet via WiFi.
When I attempt to cast the 'Loading...' message appears for 30secs and then disappears and the music plays on the phone/tablet.
I can cast using other Apps such as BubbleUPnp so the WiFi connection is working.

Have there been any updates or account changes that may have affected the ability to cast?

If this problem cannot be resolved soon I am considering cancelling my Family Subscription.

Can anyone help with this issue,

No updates that would deliberately changed that. Before we continue, could you try the following steps, exactly in this order, to see if it helps with your issue?

  • make sure you're connected to a wifi network
  • uninstall Deezer
  • clean your phone's cache
  • remove the SD card
  • turn off your phone
  • reinstall Deezer
  • open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
  • reinsert the SD card

I have followed the steps exactly as suggested on both my phone and tablet but I still cannot cast to the Sony CMT-SX7B.
I can cast Deezer to a Chromecast Audio device connected to another hi-fi amplifier.
