I have noticed when I delete previously downloaded content into my SD card, the album disappear from the downloaded tab, but the storage available space remains unchanged, like if the files weren´t completely removed.
How I can effectively delete downloaded content from my phone to save space?

Hi there, to remove an album or playlist from your downloaded music, just open it and tap the download slider so switch it off.

if the downloaded song is on your favourites, you just need to click on the blue heart and remove it from your favourites.

If you’ve already done that and she song still shows as downloaded it might still be stored on your smart cache. In this case, just go to the smart cache setting and clean it, that should remove it for good 🙂

I have noticed this issue on the beta version . Even worse , sometime after deleting an album from the downloaded section ,the capacity occupied by Deezer is increasing . As much as I know the only way is to clear cache but it will delete all the downloaded album ...
Maybe someone from Deezer can give a better solution ....
@Anja
I have submitted a ticket for this. They said they are aware of the problem and will try to fix it asap

@mk78, @MusicIsLife1122 Yes, we've noticed this issue for some users and devices and our devs are investigating. Have you tried to decrease the size of the smart cache instead? Also are you both using a sd card to store Deezer data or is it stored internal?
In my case, SD card.

Thanks for the info @mk78, could you try to change the storage for Deezer to the internal one. Do you still have the same issue then?
We noticed issues with sd cards on certain devices. This might be caused by the card.
How to remove downloaded music? The memory is full, can't free up space for new music.

Hi @SOV, if you remove the album/playlist from your downloads, it should make storage available. Does that not work for you? And what device do you use?
So, from the list, album, and playlists disappear, but the memory will no longer be. Nokia Lumia 730. It is possible that with the Windows Phone 10 app does not work properly?

Well it should do it. Are you using an sd card in the phone? Otherwise you should be able to delete the cache in the app settings of Deezer directly. Does that work?
Should, but doesn't! SD card is used and all download there. Cleared the cache through the settings of the program. Leaving only the list of downloads, the music itself need to upload again.
Is that the way it should work? How to clean unwanted music? Deezer with the operating system windows phone working correctly?

No, it should not work like that. 🙂 But the card might cause the problem. Please try the check this article

https://en.deezercommunity.com/troubleshooting-and-tips-4/android-issues-symptoms-and-answers-120

and go through the steps of the sd card problem. Does that help?
The article is talking about the Android operating system. I have a windows phone. It doesn? If I from the section "downloads" and remove the album, cash is released immediately or after some time?

Sorry, I should have made this clear. The article is about Android issue but the smart cache/ sd card steps could help you with your windows phone too :)

If you delete a download it should release space immediately. Does it do that for you? If so, are you using an sd card in your phone?
In that case, download after removal just disappear from the list! Space on the cache is not freed. I'll try the trick with the cache of the article later. Thank you for Your help.
When removing songs from downloads it seems that no memory is freed up - at least not instantly. Does Deezer remove the files from memory over time? Or does Deezer leave the unwanted files in your phone forever?

Hi @Gdan, it should do it. Does is release the storage after you restarted the app? And on what device does this happen?
Everytime I either remove an album from favourites or songs from the favourites playlist. And remove download. When I use shuffle play to shuffle my favourites and albums they still appear in the playlist. How do I get rid of them as my device says it’s not favourited or downloaded?

Hi @Pugaaron , I don't fully understand. So there is a downloaded playlist and you remove a certain track from that list, it still appears? Can you remove it at all or do you get an error message?

Also please give us more details about the device (model, software version, Deezer version)
Once I have favourited an album or song it downloads. But if I remove the favourite and download it still comes up on my downloaded shuffle playlist. That shuffle play button below iPhone 7 fully updated and Deezer premium

ah ok, got it 🙂 That's just because the tracks in the list are still stored in your smart cache (because you've listened to them) and those tracks are also included in the shuffle :)

If you fully delete your smart cache in the app settings, they should not appear in the shuffle list anymore 🙂
Okay I’ll give that a go. Thank you
Tried it today and still does the same thing. If I click on the song which is faded out it won’t let me do it cause I’m in offline mode. But when I cycle thought the playlist the songs still play.

Hi @Pugaaron I tried it and I had to delete the smart cache and restart the app. Afterwards only the downloaded tracks were shown in the shuffle queue. Otherwise you might need to delete the cache as well and download the albums/playlist you want to listen to offline again. Does that help?
I’ve tried deleting just the cache a few time and restarting the app but the only way I found that it actually removes old songs was to delete all music and re-download.
