Error with Android phones and SD card


I've been fighting the Deezer app on my phone since November. It's gotten significantly worse and it seems ridiculous that I would need to force stop, uninstall, or remove my sd card on a daily basis just to get my music to play. 3 different android phones and I've had the same issue. I have the family plan, I seem to be the only one having issues, but I also use it the most. I'm only days away from dropping and finding another streaming service. I thought within 5 months they would have fixed it, but nothing.

I've not seen others having issues, have you tried replacing the SD card (I know you mentioned different phones) or tried using Deezer without using the SD card?

Also, on top of what Rob suggested, could you try the following steps, exactly in this order, to see if it helps with your issue?

  • make sure you're connected to a wifi network
  • uninstall Deezer
  • clean your phone's cache
  • remove the SD card
  • turn off your phone
  • reinstall Deezer
  • open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
  • reinsert the SD card
