doo do doo tone when app starts and between tracks


For about a week now and even after updating the app on my Samsung A70 whenever I start the app, stop playing a track and, while listening, between every track a tone plays similar to the message/email tone.  The first time it started happening I kept getting the phone out because I thought I’d got an email or text. It’s incredibly irritating and I have no clue what’s caused it or how to fix it. Help!

Hi -Rob,  Thanks for getting back to me. This morning before I read your reply I went into the app permissions on my phone. The recent Samsung update added some new notification options so I disabled all the notifications for Deezer and that’s fixed the problem. I suspect it was the one called “playback” although why you’d want notifications between every track is a mystery to me.

Hi @marco_león 

 

Please do the following in the exact order:-
make sure you're connected to a wifi network
log out of Deezer
uninstall Deezer
clean your phone's cache
remove the SD card (if you have one)
turn off your phone
turn on your phone
reinstall Deezer
Log in to Deezer
open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
reinsert the SD card (if you have one)
