Deezer Android Widget Stops Working

If I remove and re-add the widget, it'll usually work correctly for a short amount of time. However, it always eventually does this:

Once this happens, the widget becomes completely unresponsive. Tapping it does not open the app, the gear in the corner does nothing, and it does not display what is playing if I open the app via the app drawer and start playing music. The only thing I can do is remove the widget and put it back again.

Hey @bj61251

Thanks a lot for reporting this. What version of our app have you got installed and what's your Android version?

Let me know and I can ping our devs about this. In the meantime, have you also tried reinstalling the app after restarting your device?

Yep, feel free to forward to whoever can look into the issue. I'm on an up to date build of Android 11 on a Pixel 2XL, Deezer app version I'm quite certain that I've tried reinstalling, but I'll give it another try on the current version.

Thanks for that @bj61251 yes, I'll pass it on but please keep us posted :thumbsup_tone2:

I reinstalled the app, and the widget was good for a couple of days. However (and it very well could be related), I just casted my Flow to my Google home speaker group, and the widget is now just an empty box:

If I click on it, it still opens the app, but this usually is what happens prior to it breaking completely.

And now today the widget is back to how it looked in my first screen shot: gear in the corner, Deezer icon in the center, and does nothing when I click on it.
