Hi there, Michele @chielmes

Sorry for my reply in English - our community doesn't support Italian yet.

Could you try the following steps, exactly in this order, to see if it helps with your issue?

  • make sure you're connected to a wifi network
  • uninstall Deezer
  • clean your phone's cache
  • remove the SD card (if applicable)
  • turn off your phone
  • reinstall Deezer
  • open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
  • reinsert the SD card (if applicable)

Let us know how it goes :v_tone2:

I have exactly the same problem described by Michele.

I can add that:

1) Deezer continue to works fine under different WiFi networks.

2) Problem seems to arise when I changed my mobile internernet provider 2 days ago.

3) My device is a samsung sm-n9500 running android 5.0

4) I run latest deezer app installed from playstore (v.6.2.12.102).

5) I already try the suggested uninstall/install sequence without any luck.

What can I do to solve this issue ?

Please, let me know if you need any other information or test I can perform on my device to help you to solve the problem.

Thank you in advance for your support...

You run very old iphone. Probably you need new one.

Android 5 will soon not be support anywhere. Better go shopping around.

New phones like A20e from Samsung almost no price.

Always buy Samsung, the least of phones not made in Chine/PRC. Support South Korea!

Why won't you just swap the old Samsung Phone for a Samsung Phone?

That is a very good implementation and probably the least intrusive one possible.

Deezer and other apps are workin’ better on Android 10 phones or a bit below too.

Hi Rudi,

Unfortunately latest version 6.2.13.151 of Deezer App I updated from playstore some times ago doesn't give any improovmemt on the problem.

From a couple of weeks I was in touch with Shanice from deezer support too, but despite a certain number of tests I performed on my device, up to now seems there is no solution for the described problem: Deezer app works fine under wifi networks but refuse to connect (and than download/streaming music) when I was under my 4G mobile network. It is not a problem from my 4G provider beccause I already ask them and furtherly I have friends using deezer that has no problems using the same provider.

Please note that I have no problem using under the same 4G condition any other streaming services.

Thanks for reporting it back to us @gerardus did Shanice provide you with further instructions?  Did you manage to see if any power-management settings could affect the app's performance?

I refuse to believe this isn't possible via 4G, I really wanted to get it working for you. Let's the conversation going and I can also discuss this further with our devs :v_tone2:
