Audio settings from premium to hifi

Hello guys, I've been switching my premium deezer account into a hi fi one, I called the customer care service just to make sure I could correctly change audio quality settings into my mobile deezer app because my mp3 audio songs had to change into the new flac audio format.

The customer care told me they will switch it automatically into flac format but as far as downloaded songs are concerned they suggested me to clear all my downloaded songs and albums I stored into my deezer account and reload them again but I noticed when I use a device supporting flac audio files (i.e. Sony headphones or sonos speakers) , they will automatically switch those songs into the flac audio format, so maybe it is not necessary to remove the songs from my catalogue and download them again, isn't it?

Thanks a lot for your help 🙂

How did you call them?

Deezer does not have any number to call :)

The hifi change means usually to clearing cache and re-downloading.

This way you can be sure to have it all right.
