Android mobile app album favorites not in sync with desktop

Not sure if it's just me, but whilst the total number shown in the 'my music' section alongside 'albums' is correct (i.e. shows same as desktop app), when I click to see the albums in here, they're not in syncwith what I have saved in the desktop or web app (and seemingly quite random, i.e. not missing latest, more like Swiss cheese 😉. Even if I search for an album I know I've marked as a favorite, it doesn't come up in results on mobile.

Is this a known issue/due to be fixed?

Could you please trying clearing the app's cache and logging out to see if the problem persists?

I could try, but only option I see is to clear all data which I'd obviously rather avoid as it would remove all my downloads from my phone?

That's a fact, yes @summerteeth you'd have to download your songs again. Try a logout first, it won't do any harm.

As expected, log out didn't work. Sure I've had this in the past and would be a real pain to have to both remember and then download all the albums I've already got on my phone (as often then remove from favourites, due to number limit here). As such, for now have to cross check with web and search (or briefly play) albums to then add to mobile. Obviously frustrating 😞

Don't you have your downloaded tracks on playlists? By the way, the songs remain where they are, but you need to toggle the download button on again.

Not on playlists, as it's albums I've downloaded - but seem to recall you're right, they still show in the downloaded section... although seems they shouldn't and don't recall how I've cleared this out totally before (unless manually). Will see.... Thanks.

No idea what's going on here - anyone else have the same issue or know how I can fix this?

PS total showing the same in the browser as Android app, only list of fave albums in the app still not showing same as in the browser :(

Hello and good evening!

Just noticed that on Windows browser and on the Windows desktop app, the amount of albums that I have added to my collection has dropped from over 1300 to 997. Curiously, on the android app the number stands at 1058 at the moment. The windows app is the latest version.
The android app used to have a limit of 1000 albums, if I remember correctly? Is there now a limit to how many albums can be added to collection on Windows browser as well, or is this a technical problem?

Pretty sure last post should have been a new post - so aside from the sync issue (this original post) I've suddenly found a fave album limit of around 1,855. Very strange.

Reuther way, all using Android beta.

Final update: have now cleared all app cache and data, then uninstalled and reinstalled the android app. First the normal, then the beta. In all cases, the favorite albums list still isn't showing the same as the desktop or web apps (which are the same). Total number of albums here in all cases is the same 1,855. Again, seems to be locked at this max number (no longer 2K).

Any final tips or help?

PS app download albums were totally cleared, so can't see what I had there before and simply redownload as have in the past 😞

Hi @summerteeth thanks for your message. Yes, there is a limit of 2000 for albums. Can you tell us how many albums you see in the app and how many on desktop? It is also important to provide us with the number of the version you have installed and with the device you are using.

Version is 6.1.3.1. And currently 1850 favourite albums, although recent max on all platforms (web app, desktop win 10 app and Android) was 1,855.
