I'm using app with android auto, and application logging out after short time

Is the logging out bad or annoying? If so, it is probably this “android auto” thing is logging you out after a certain period of time, probably to keep you safe.

I'm having the same issue, it's very annoying. It logged me out 2 times within 1 hour of driving. It's logged me out during the middle of long drives, I either have to stop in a safe spot to log back in, or just actually use the fm radio feature.

Sorry about that @thugmunch @Ultravozhik could you please confirm which Android Deezer app versions you've got installed?

Have you also tried reinstalling the app and restarting your phone?

Issue appears only when app is not in “offline” mode. 

I’ve did it several times. It happening during last couple months.

Im running version: 6.2.21.90

I havnt tried it in offline mode, I've always been online during the time it happened. I've tried restarting phone, but not reinstalling the app. It's not consistent though. Last week, it was fine. But this week it started acting up.

Encountering the same issue. Hope they fix it on the next patch

It seems you're all on the same version of our app. Have you tried to update it since?

In any case, could you please provide me with your Android OS version? It could be this is a bug affecting older Android versions.

Same, was using deezer on android 11, galaxy s10+. But now I’m quit, and going to use another app. Thank you for “support”. Just don’t want to pay money for buggy app

I have use the app for a more than a year without any problem and since a few day ago I got a new condition, every time that I connect the phone to the car using AndroidAuto the Deezer App ask for a login and while a driving (maybe when I change between cells towers) the music is off and the screen show a “funny” message  ( Oops… Error ). When I finally I stop the car and check the phone…. Do you guess?… I got the next screen ….. please login to your account

 

 

By the way, this is a random event, it doesn't happen every time. Sometimes I can reach the destination without problem

 

Advice, while looking for the versions I could notice that my account reports that the devices has been connected since March 2021. This information is wrong. Did you reset all the accounts and by error deleting the history of the user accounts?

 

Update: My son said me that He have the same problem and He are using only the Deezer App in his phone. He don´t use AndroidAuto

 

Could you Deezer Support do something to fix this annoying issue?

Sorry you’re having this issue. Other users have also been reporting integration issues with AndroidAuto, and I believe the developers are looking into this.

Double check that my last sentence where I introduce that the same behavior happens to my son that he are not using AndroidAuto he is a simple pedestrian, but have this problem too

Twice now, while driving, I get logged out and cannot play music until I log back in.  Do you know how dangerous that is while driving?  Why is this suddenly happening?

Same Probleme here. It happens completl, randomly. Is there any possability to make a crashlpg and send it to you @deezer

I contacted support and they advised me to uninstall and reinstall the app, which I did and it is still happening. I currently pay for this service and reported this issue 2 to 3 weeks ago and so far nothing seems to have been done about it. 

There seems to have been an update to the software that has caused this and it needs to be sorted and sharpish.

@Rudi I have the same problem. It started a few months ago and happened every now and then. But recently, it happens very often. Today two times in a row.

Deezer: 6.2.23.100

Android Auto: 6.2.610914

Phone: OnePlus 8T 11.0.7.10.KB05BA

Car: Ford Focus 2019

I get this error and when I check the app, I’m signed out. Hope it helps.
